Privacy Policy

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We designed PureHabits to be maximally private by default. We do not collect any of the following:

• Name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information
• Account credentials (the App does not require sign-up or login)
• Precise location data
• Contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or other sensitive permissions (unless you explicitly grant them for optional features)
• Advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking
• Habit content for profiling, advertising, or sale to third parties

2. Information Collected Automatically (Device & Usage)

The App may collect limited, non-personally identifiable technical information necessary for basic functionality, performance, and improvement:

• Device information — device type, iOS version, screen resolution, language, and region settings
• App usage data — general interaction patterns (e.g., which screens are viewed, how often the App is opened) — anonymized and aggregated
• Crash reports & performance diagnostics — if the App crashes, we may receive basic crash logs (including device model and iOS version) through Apple's standard Crash Reporting system or a minimal third-party service (currently none / optional Firebase Crashlytics with anonymization)

All such data is anonymized and cannot be linked back to you as an individual. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.

3. Your Habit Data — 100% Local

All your habits, streaks, notes, completion history, goals, reminders, and statistics stay on your device.

• We do not upload your habit data to our servers.

4. Data Retention

• Local habit data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
• Anonymous technical/crash data is retained only as long as necessary for debugging and App improvement (usually up to 90 days).
• When you delete the App, all local data is removed from the device (subject to normal iOS behavior).

5. Children's Privacy

PureHabits is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Because we collect almost no personal data, most traditional rights (access, deletion, portability) are not applicable. However, you always have these practical controls:

• Delete any habit data directly in the App
• Disable iCloud sync in iOS Settings
• Uninstall the App to remove all local data
• Turn off notifications/reminders in iOS Settings

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the App from unauthorized access, but remember: because your data lives on your device, your device's security (passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, iOS updates) is the primary protection.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised "Effective Date". Significant changes will be communicated inside the App.

Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
